VMware ships open source Linux VDI client.
Writing TuxVMware is offering a free (LGPL-licensed) client for use with its VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) thin client technology. MySQL founder leaves Sun.
Michael "Monty" Widenius, original author and founder of MySQL, has announced he has now resigned from Sun to start his own company, Monty Program Ab.
